This NOKIA 5110 LCD module is adapted to be controlled directly through microcontrollers of 5V working voltage without the need for current limiting resistors.

This module is based on the NOKIA 5110 LCD screen which uses the same controller as the NOKIA 3310 LCD; it can be used for lots of applications and easily weld on a PCB. It’s easy to use and has low power consumption. The supply voltage of the LCD and each communication line between a microcontroller and the PCD8544 controller of the LCD are regulated though a 3.3V regulator and a 3 state bus respectively.
